Andy Newton is President of Uniti Fiber where he stewards Uniti’s efforts to design, build and operate its fiber network infrastructure. Newton was the co-founder of Southern Light, and for the previous 19 years served as its President and CEO where he led the overall operations, strategic guidance and culture of the company. Under his direction, Southern Light grew to become one of the top 10 largest pure fiber optic providers in the country. Newton received an Economics degree from Birmingham Southern College and enjoys providing leadership to non-profits that focus on education and community planning and development.

I worked big box retail out of college with K-Mart. I held several positions from Store Management moving to Project Manager rolling out Martha Stewart and Big K-Mart store conversions and renovations. I then joined Garden Ridge as an Area Sales Manager eventually helping them open stores in Texas. My next career move took me to banking working with SunTrust in Atlanta, GA. While with SunTrust I earned my MBA and held several positions including: Branch Manager, Regional Marketing Services, Project Manager and Equity Wholesale National Marketing Director. I left SunTrust as a 1st Vice President to own and operate a Chick-fil-A franchise in Daphne, AL. I currently have two locations Daphne and RSA Trustmark while serving as a Licensee Consultant to the location on the University of South Alabama campus.
On the personal and more important side, I am married to Shonna Nance and have three children; William, age 14, Abigail, age 12 and Mitchell, age 9. I attend Eastern Shore Presbyterian Church serving as a deacon. I am currently on the Bayshore Christian School Foundation as Chairman. I am the varsity golf coach at Bayshore Christian School and currently coach my boys in baseball moving to basketball in the Fall.

collections and archives.

He serves as President of the Rotary Club of Mobile and is the
immediate past president of the Friends of Magnolia Cemetery. He is
also a member of the boards of the Historic Restoration Society, the
Historic Mobile Preservation Society, and the Friends of the Alabama
Governor’s Mansion and has served as both a Deacon and Elder in the
Government Street Presbyterian Church.
Tom is married to the former Ceil Smith of Monroeville and has a

Jim Nagy took over as executive director of the Senior Bowl in June 2018 after spending 18 years in the National Football League. In his time in the NFL, Nagy worked as an area scout in the West, Midwest, and Southeast regions, as well as in a national scouting capacity for four years with the Kansas City Chiefs. He was a part of six Super Bowl teams and four Lombardi Trophy winning clubs (Green Bay Packers XXXI, New England Patriots XXXVIII and XXXIX and Seattle Seahawks XLVIII). Prior to his time in the NFL, Nagy worked for a sports agency in New York City representing NFL players and had various jobs in the media, including a consultant role on the NFL Today pregame show on CBS and writing his own football column in The Sporting News magazine. Nagy is also a NFL Draft Analyst with ESPN and can be seen live on-air leading up to the NFL Draft. He graduated from the University of Michigan and his family has resided in Mobile, Ala., since 2007.
