I worked big box retail out of college with K-Mart. I held several positions from Store Management moving to Project Manager rolling out Martha Stewart and Big K-Mart store conversions and renovations. I then joined Garden Ridge as an Area Sales Manager eventually helping them open stores in Texas. My next career move took me to banking working with SunTrust in Atlanta, GA. While with SunTrust I earned my MBA and held several positions including: Branch Manager, Regional Marketing Services, Project Manager and Equity Wholesale National Marketing Director. I left SunTrust as a 1st Vice President to own and operate a Chick-fil-A franchise in Daphne, AL. I currently have two locations Daphne and RSA Trustmark while serving as a Licensee Consultant to the location on the University of South Alabama campus.
On the personal and more important side, I am married to Shonna Nance and have three children; William, age 14, Abigail, age 12 and Mitchell, age 9. I attend Eastern Shore Presbyterian Church serving as a deacon. I am currently on the Bayshore Christian School Foundation as Chairman. I am the varsity golf coach at Bayshore Christian School and currently coach my boys in baseball moving to basketball in the Fall.
